Holiday Programme

Collegians Pre-Christmas Coaching and holiday programme is being held on 19th – 22nd December
9:00am – 12:00pm for softball
1:00pm – 3:00pm for hardball (depending on the numbers)
Year 8 Zone Tournament

The annual Year 8 Zone tournament started on Sunday 20 November and will continue over the next four Sundays. Collegians combines with Karori to form the Wellington West team. This is the highest level of representative cricket for Collegians junior cricketers and several of our players produced stand-out performances in the first round. Match reports can be read here.
Scoring Workshop

An informal evening in which you will learn the basics of scoring a cricket game. How to score a cricket game will be demystified for you and by the end of the evening the joys of a tidy, well organised score book will be within your grasp. This is especially helpful for coaches and managers in the older age group grades who want to keep accurate player statistics.
Please bring a pencil and rubber.

Sunday T20 Grades for 2011 / 12

Cricket Wellington has this season started two T20 grades for junior club teams on Sunday afternoons, a Year 6 grade and a combined Year 7/8 grade. These competitions are additional to the existing Saturday grades and are intended to give junior cricketers the opportunity to play two forms of the game, and in future provide two pathways for players.
Collegians would like to enter teams in both grades – as many teams as we have players available. The season will run for two separate periods – pre and post-Christmas and at this stage we are looking for players for just the pre-Christmas period. We understand that weekends are busy and are happy to run a squad system so that players are not committed to playing every week.

Another cricket season is nearly upon us!
Players in Year 2-8 grades should have been advised of their team allocation by now – please contact us if not.
Matches start Saturday 29 October unless we are told otherwise by Cricket Wellington. The draw will be made in the week prior.
