Collegians Champions v Johnsonville Lesvos

Collegians won the toss and batted on a damp pitch at Anderson Park.  After a solid start, we were restricted to 56 due to some difficult ‘low trajectory’ bowling.

Theo and Thomas shared the highest partnership but all players contributed.

A solid bowling and fielding performance saw the Champions home.  3 runs were needed off the last over but Ollie Severinsen’s double wicket maiden under pressure left the J’Ville team on 50.

Player of the Day was Benji Sneddon with some great hitting at the end of the innings and 2 overs conceding 2 runs (a wide!).

Onslow batted first and amassed a decent total on the back of a flat artificial pitch and some generous wide rulings.
Collegians started solidly with Tom and Theo batting well but a few run outs saw us fall short.

Izak Jackson was captain and also player of the day.

Played at Nairnville on the artificial in sunny & warm conditions.

Felix was the captain and won the toss and bowled

Excellent bowling and fielding to restrict the Onslow team.  Theo managed a couple of direct hits from the outfield to run players out.

Very strong batting and excellent running between the wickets.  We ran several 3s and Theo ran a 4.

Player of the day = Theo Morton

A very tight game at Kilbirnie.  The Champions batted first and looked to be building a big score before losing a few quick wickets at the end.  Too many run outs which means there’ll be some practice to be done!  Some great batting by all.  The bowling was much improved with fewer wides.  However, the Falcons pipped us in the end with some useful lower order batting.
